Description
Begonia Maculata or commonly known as Polka Dot Begonias, it’s the new plant on the block. Give him a weekly watering and a light spot and he will provide you with lots of new growth.
Please note: due to the nature of this plant, they have very soft and fragile leaves and some may arrive to you slightly perfectly imperfect. Begonia Maculata’s are a challenging plant and really are for the experienced plant parent. With a little bit of nurture and love, he will perk up. Don’t be afraid to trim off a damaged leaf, pop him in a bright spot and allow him to settle into his new forever home.
Plant care
Needs watering once a week and thoroughly water the soil but always let it drain out. Don’t let it stand in water in the ceramic as it is susceptible to root rot. A nice indirectly sunny spot would work. Window sill but not too much full sun. These can grow quite tall so be sure to stake if the stems need a bit of support!
